Muddy Creek Cafe and Music Hall Performance

We had the amazing opportunity to perform at Muddy Creek Music Hall on Feb 24, 2018.  This is a wonderful venue and we are very grateful for the opportunity that Bill and Shana provided for us.  We performed along with The Carolina Pinecones.  We also invited them onstage between sets and played a medley of tunes.  It was a really fun night!  Here are a few pictures from the audience.

Kentucky Performances!!!

We are off to an exciting new year and one of the things we are excited about is going to Kentucky to perform.  We'll be performing in Morgantown, KY on May 3 and Rosine, Kentucky on May 4, 2018.  Morgantown KY is the hometown of Elijah and Lincoln's dad.  They are really looking forward to performing for the grandparents, uncle, and all their relatives.  We'll be playing at 7:00pm at the Eva J Hawes Building at the Morgantown City Park.  We hope to see all of our fans in Kentucky there!

Our performance in Rosine, KY is at the Rosine Barn Jamboree.   This is a very historic site where Bill Monroe played.  We are very excited for the opportunity to "stand in the footsteps" of Bill Monroe and perform at this venue.  So please save the date and come see us on May 4, 2018 at 7:00pm.

2017 Salisbury Busker's Bash

The 2017 Salisbury Busker's Bash was amazing!  We placed 2nd out of 47 buskers and were the top band!  Our friend John Lee played with us.  It was really fun and we want to thank everyone who voted for us.  We would also like to thank Caniche for their hospitality.

Busking in front of Caniche

We busked for 2 hours and received 332 votes.

We were asked to play a few songs after the award ceremony with a few other artists.

2017 IBMA

Hello Everyone,

We had a great time at IBMA!  We would like to thank High Lonesome Strings Bluegrass Association for allowing us to play on the HLS stage and at Isaac Hunter's Tavern.  We also did some busking on the street.  IBMA was very fun!

2017 Galax Old Fiddler's Convention

One Fret Over had a great rainy day at the 2017 Old Fiddler's Convention in Galax, VA! Not only did we get to hang out with our bluegrass friends, we got to compete for the first time as a band at this convention, with the special addition of our friend Liam Purcell. Thanks for joining us Liam - you are a great banjo player and friend! We are so excited that we placed 2nd!! To add to the excitement, Gabe placed 1st in Youth Guitar and Elijah placed 2nd in Youth mandolin.  It was a great day!
